 Join your neighbors for the Children's Independence Day Parade on July 4th! The Parade will start at 9am at Prairie Fields Park.
The parade will also feature trucks from the Savoy Fire Department! Don't forget to decorate your bikes, wagons, strollers and pets! Our Prairie Fields neighborhood has over 600 homes. Instead of trying to organize a neighborhood wide party for a couple thousand people we are empowering you to gather your neighbors and hold a block party on your street.
You can apply for a Block Party Grant by filling out and submitting an application form. Guidelines are included in the document.
 The Neighborhood Garage Sale is this weekend! You can find it advertised in the News Gazette and Craigslist. Registered houses are listed on the neighborhood sale map and item list (below), and will be marked with a balloon. We now have 49 houses listed!  The first Events Committee meeting will be held Wednesday, March 19 at 7:30 at the Carey Busey Elementary School. We will develop ideas for 2014 including:
