Our official neighborhood garage sale will be Friday May 2nd and Saturday May 3rd.

and include your NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER. 

 Please respond by Monday, April 28th if you plan to participate. 

Signs will be delivered to you by Thursday evening that week, and picked up by Sunday evening. (These signs belong to the HOA and we will reuse them). Additionally, we will be running an ad in the paper and posting the sale dates on Nextdoor and Facebook again. 

The sign can be used that weekend whenever you want to run your sale time. Simply take the sign away when you’re not available.

As done previously, we will be creating an interactive map listing all the addresses.

We are hopeful it will be another successful event!

The Prairie Fields HOA Halloween Walk will be held on Thursday, October 31st and will include a costume contest.  The costume contest judging will occur exactly at 4:30pm in advance of the walk. Everyone interested in participating in the contest and the walk should meet at the Prairie Fields Park parking lot just south of Carrie Busey School.

There will be 4 categories, each receiving a $25 Gift Card:

1. Best family/group costume
2. Most creative/original costume
3. Best Effort.
4. Cutest costume

Only PFHOA residents are eligible for prizes.

Prairie Fields Community Wide Garage Sale September 27th & 28th 2024

This year the Illinois Marathon has the marathon race distance back!   Savoy joined with Champaign and Urbana so that the distance for the marathon could be accomplished.  About 4 miles of the marathon will run through Savoy and is a great opportunity (close to home) to see the race and cheer runners on.  The race is held on Saturday, April 27 beginning at 7:30 AM and the race time limit is described as 6 hours.  Specific information (about traffic control etc.) will come to those along the route from race organizers. 

The event is a positive and fun event and volunteers are needed for the race – many positions are right here in Savoy.  The Village of Savoy will have some fun signs along the route to welcome runners to Savoy. It is fun to volunteer and as a past volunteers highly recommend the experience!
