On Saturday, April 20, 2024 ... a Community Clean-Up Day will be held in the Champaign/Urbana/Savoy area and residents of Prairie Fields Subdivision can participate in this event. One of the clean-up sites will be along U.S Route 45 in Savoy and as we are all residents of Savoy, we are hoping that some of the residents can participate in this event.

All volunteers are scheduled to meet at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 20th in the parking lot of the Savoy Applebee's restaurant, at the intersection of Curtis Road and Route 45.  Volunteers will be given tee shirts as a token of appreciation plus trash bags, safety vests, and trash grabber sticks will be handed out to help with the work. Volunteers will be asked to sign a Release Form to participate.  Also, a free lunch will be provided at Scott Park in Champaign, for all participants.

The Prairie Fields HOA Halloween Walk will be held on Tuesday, October 31st and will include a costume contest.  A Champaign County Sheriff's Deputy will lead the walk at 4:45pm. The costume contest judging will occur exactly at 4:30pm in advance of the walk. Everyone interested in participating in the contest and the walk should meet at the Prairie Fields Park parking lot just south of Carrie Busey School.

There will be 6 categories, each receiving a $25 Gift Card:

1. Best family costume
2. Most creative/original costume
3. Funniest costume
4. Creepiest Costume
5. Cutest costume
6. Best Pet  <------ New this year !!

Only PFHOA residents are eligible for prizes.

Our official neighborhood garage sale will be :  Friday, September 29th and Saturday, September 30th. 

The signs will be delivered to you by Thursday evening that week, and picked up by Sunday evening. These signs belong to the HOA and we will reuse them. The sign can be used that weekend whenever you want to run your sale time. Simply take the sign away when you’re not available.

We are hopeful it will be another successful event!

The Parade will start at 9:30am at Prairie Fields Park.

Don't miss the parade led by a Deputy from the Champaign County Sheriff's office!

The PFHOA-wide garage sale will be Friday 5/20 and Saturday 5/21. Though open to anyone in Prairie Fields, if you let us know you plan to participate, we will loan you a sign to place in your yard during times you are selling items to help guide customers to your residence. The board will also put out signs at each entrance to PF and put an ad in the News-Gazette. To sign up, email us at [email protected]. Please include your address. We would like to get the sign back to allow us to reuse the signs. We will want to collect the signs Saturday afternoon after the sale and will pick them up from your yard.
